Taken at the GCA convention at Springfield. We paid Rock Island to insure and bring #2, I brought my #3... quite a picture :) Attendees could have their pictures taken with them behind glass and physically holding #3, very popular.
Where is #1 located Bob? SA museum? And by Rock Island, you mean their museum at RIA?
Yes on both. #3 is in my safe :) BTW, it's the only one of the three with John Garand's original finish. SA's #1 has been Parked, and RIA's #2 has been blued to come close to the original "oxidized" finish. That's essentially the old rust blue. SA hated Parkerizing and strongly resisted it until Ordnance finally laid down the law.
The #7 shown was Eddie Zajac's total restoration using Gas Trap parts. The receiver came back for rebuild and Eddie acquired it. I believe the #8 shown shown is a T20 variant with a Bennell Machine experimental sight.

Some Model shop receivers have surfaced over the years having been rebuilt to later configurations. Serial number 19 was in Wisconsin with a LMR barrel years ago
and serial number 23 was restored to a later gas trap build but had been torch cut down one side but repaired, looked good . Someone claimed to have a model shop
receiver without a serial number too.
Billy Pyle down in Texas has #5 he bought many years ago from Art Tuttle. I had receiver #80 and took the photo of it next to #81 at SA. Recently sold it. Also have #64.
