L96A1 CES Screwdriver
There was a post a while back asking about the screwdriver that formed part of the CES for the L96.
It took an age to find one to complete my CES (with the help of a fellow forum member), but since then I have found a number of variations that carry the same NSN number

They're scraping the barrel buying from Draper ...

See that F1 prefix to the Nato number? That is the prefix for general hand tools...., expense items. So you'd find zillions of variations and manufacturers. Usually PURCHASED from within the EU (but not for much longer hopefully....) from the lowest cost supplier. But, alas mostly made OUTSIDE the EU. To think of one supplier who bid and supplied, at the lowest price, he clearly didn't realise the the phillips cross-head screwdrivers should ideally have a cross-head blade much harder and tougher than the cross-head/phillips screw that the blade was meant to turn. They lasted about a week....... and even shorter if you had to use it!
