You mean "Inglis"...you may be right as to manufacture, "RA" isn't what "JI" stamped on his mags. Here's a link for the others to follow. Inglis Mag Browning Hi-Power 9mm Luger 13-Round Steel Matte
I can't spell magazine either!
Doesn't matter...anyway, I'll bet these mags are about perfect, new and all. If I was looking, I'd grab whatever I needed of them. Then keep a watch for the pistol from India.
I don't recognize RA markings. My Inglis magazines have JI markings. ???????
From comments on other forums about these magazines....India is a likely point of origin.
I my mind's eye, if you take the 'RA' stamp on these and put an 'I' in the middle, then you have 'RIA'....which could mean either India  or China or Taiwan!
I'll have a couple of these in hand like next Thursday for hands on opinion....free freight is slow freight!...:(
I actually received these mags this morning...days early! Pretty much matches the Midway description....new...RA marked...Inglis pattern mags with alloy followers....the finish is no 'suncorite' enamel I've ever seen and to my amateur eye looks more like black oxide/parkerize type finish.
The very first review about these at Midway pretty much sums up my opinion about these....I loaded both mags and they are really tough to load to 13 rounds! Empty mags fit fine and worked slide-stop and trigger safeties on both an Feg and an old pattern FN Hi Power. Loaded mags take some effort to stick in a closed slide pistol.
My guess is they will work fine for me....and who knows?.....Maybe India will turn loose of some more of their Hi Powers in the future and I'll have a pair of mags.
I bought these to use in a 'Policia Prov BS Aries-61' pistol that came with two matching serial numbered magazines. If these new mags work ok I will rat-hole the Argentine issue mags....and shoot the pistol with these Inglis type mags...faux or no
Midway and others have these back in stock.
I have one from Midway. I wanted the alloy follower for a Inglis magazine. My English issue Inglis was FTR by Enfield Lock in 1962. The magazine had a plastic follower,so put in the alloy one in the JL magazine and the plastic one in the Indian RA mag, both work fine.
