Throw out that chest and smile. It's not only allowed, it's absolutely called for!
Congratulations!

Wagga -as in Wagga, New South Wales?
If so, may what she's learned at Kapooka stand her in good stead in the years to come.
Kapooka - Army Camp at Wagga Wagga - city. As my daughter, the proud mother of the newest 'Digger' in our family (4 generations & 4 wars) says, 'same difference'.
Congrats to your granddaughter, Paul. Another "Seperated by a common language." thing, but 'passing out' is the same as fainting over here. I knew a couple of responses would set me straight.

In 'Yank-speak' - end of course (recruit training in this case) parade/ceremony.
Thats great Paul, congrats to the lot of you. What mob is she going to go to?
Pete the Pom, RAEME attached 4th Royal Aust. Regt, 8th RAR and 1 RAR 1967 to 1970 says congrats too
Dom's going to RAAMC.
Her sister (No.1 Granddaughter) is an RAN (Leading Seaman) medic.
Her family tree has Diggers in WWI Western Front (great great-grandfathers), WWII PNG/South Pacific (great-grandfathers), Vietnam (grandfathers), & Iraq (father) (2nd innings).
Congrats!
