I've decided to pick-up a Nagant Model 1895 pistol that was made in 1920 (during the Russian Civil War from what I'm reading) I would like to try and find an ERA correct holster for this. But looking around I have not found a source that can provide deatils or pictures of the holster design for that period.
Does anyone know where I can obtain this information?

I believe that the holsters of that period would have been leather and look similar in style to those man made crap post WWII holsters.
You can go with either the belt loop style or the shoulder strap style. I prefer the shoulder strap style and have one myself.
An original leather holster will be nearly impossible to find. They do make nice repros and they are reasonable.
Yup, found some nice Repo's at worldwarsupply.com But I just found out that the Nagant I bought comes with a holster and ammo, so it will be interesting to see what I get. I'll have it next week.Quote:
