It is real. It is a nice Indian No4MkI/2(t).
It has had the forend replaced. But trust me, that is a good thing...
As per email;)
I recently bought an ex-Indian Long Branch No.4 (T) here in the US. It lacked import markings, I wonder if yours lacks them as well?
Hi Troglodyte. ( was does that name remind me of a girl from Beverley..? ). What sort of Money did you pay for it.? Via pm of you like. Ive Made an offer on that one which has been accepted.Thats the 4th T Ive bought since corona lockdown started.
It affects people in different ways.......!
I saw the original eGun listing at € 3200. Would you mind letting me know how much you ended up paying for this rifle? The scope/mount combo of this rifle was the best of it, maybe worth more than the rifle itself. Rifle serial is A 0083 T (Indians gave them new serials). If I'm not mistaken the bracket comes off rifle 33471, but please confirm this once you have received the rifle. Funny detail on this rifle, it seems to have had the T stamped at least for a total of three times on the receiver on the same place.
Edit:
You are aware this rifle is NOT in the US, are you? I've had a few of the Indian No. 4 T in the past. They all had Belgian firing proofs, so I suspect they came to Europe via Belgium. No importer mark was present, but maybe laws in Belgium are/were different?
I have only bought on 4(T) since the WuFlu started, I am behind!
