Surplus Navy parachute?
I came across this parachute while I was digging through a barn full of cars. The canopy is white orange and green. The plparachute says it's a U.S Navy, Navy chest parachute oversize. Produced by switlik parachute co. I'm after some more information on it. Anyone know?

Measure it's diameter... if it is 28ft, it is a standard 28 ft flat circular which was the standard aircrew survival canopy of the 60s. Troop dropping canopies were usually around 32ft as they had to carry equipment, Reserves were 24ft. Lots were made by Switlik.. they were used in both seat and chest packs.. The three colours were used to either hide the canopy in jungle or snow (some canopies had a couple of desert brown gores as well!) or provide a rescue signal.
These canopies, modified to give them a steering capability, were widely used in the 70s for sport parachuting. I have over 50 jumps on these canopies! They seem to work OK...

Forgot to add.. the designation of the canopy, if it is 28ft is C9.
