The Great Dane, Duke, was the beloved dog of Major General Clayton B. Vogel, who commanded I Marine Amphibious Corps during World War II.

I like the way that the dog has some of the notes around it's front paws, as if to say, "It's MY money and you can keep your thieving mitts off it.". :nono:

Both rifles are 1903 rifles...but I love the Eagle snap cartridge belt Pte Maige is wearing...on the right.

Well, someone is not getting paid on time. Just as well where are you going to spend the money on Guadalcanal.
