I was sorting through my collection of No.32 Mk1 tools as was surprised to find that there was some variation. Variations shown are with screw size and location. I have never seen one broad arrowed or with manufacturer's code.

Here is one for you Paul. A non-standard pattern Mk I tool made and marked by S261, Rex Meters Ltd, Kingsbury Works, Romford, Essex. As you can see they skipped the brass insert, which I have never figured out why it was there in the first place? Picked up half a dozen from a collector 20+ years ago in London still new in grease as extra's for any snipers I picked up lacking tools.
Went through my T's and like yours I have the screw size and location variation but no broad arrows on anyone.
And there was another, reportedly made for use at RSAF(E).
I'd add a photo, which I have posted before here, but the photo no longer appears in the File Upload Manager. There seems to be a limit to what can be accessed there, with older photos disappearing as new ones are added?
How about a picture of one serving it’s “special purpose”. From one Jerk to another. This threads giving me piles.
