You will find variations of longer but they started as the short strap is 23'' and long strap is 46''.

No one seemed to notice, if they do they'll move it. Slings, remember no one would likely measure a sling to see if it hit the demand requirements unless it didn't work. They made them longer as I've found but not really shorter...there may be examples but I haven't seen them.Quote:

For longer slings, look at their National Match slings. These are available up to 58" (long strap) and use nylon thread instead of linen like the originals.
Also check out their "seconds" offerings. Whatever cosmetic blemish downgrades them will be of no consequence if you intended to actually use the sling.
