The Naked Army

Just recieved my fifth figure in a line of cold cast bronze figures of the Australian army. they are about 13 inches high including the base. (1/6 scale) They are not cheap but then they are NOT toys. This was one of a "Digger" at Gallipoli.
The detail is amazing, right down to the sling swivels on the rifles.
each figure is done individualy. They also have some kits of the figures that can be assembled and painted

The term "Naked Army" comes from an Egyptian newspaper article at the time

those are exquisite , i note the FALs in the hands of some , as you say details are truely represented

Just keep in mind that postage is $35.
Somehow their website didn't take that into account when I ordered the last one. Hopefuly they have that fixed by now. The packing is superb, You can't see it in the pic, but the second figure from the right has a fixed bayonet. Fragile is the best description of that, but it made it safely.

Remember this is basically cast resin, even if it is bronze color or has metal bits in it. In a former life I made cast resin whales and dolphins. Fragile? You bet.
