that is the deepest cleanest cartoshes i have seen. almost looks fake. i know its probly not, but its weird seeing the stock stamps so clean and easy to see
At least the FJA is not originally applied. Look how off the F is.
The J looks a bit different than on the 03A3 I had, but the spacing is close to the same. - Bob

The bend and milling in the bolt handle does not look right, or like those I've seen. And, although the original bases came from Redfield, I believe they were unmarked? The receiver may be the real deal. I've seen several posts here and elswhere of people finding nice sporters with A4 receivers.
I also just pulled a Remington M1903 and a 1903a3 from my safe with a "2" in their serial. The bottom of the 2's are each straight, and not wavy like the serial of this rifle.
