I got a Springfield Arsenal 03 recently. Arsenal rebuilt with circle a barrel dtd. 9/43, scant stock. Serial num. 847561, anyone know how I can find out where this rifle may have been to?
If the barrel has an RA stamp over the date, it was installed by a previous civilian owner.
Records on individual rifles are pretty hard to come by.
I’m guessing the circle has an “S” in it, would be Sedgley. Request an SRS check. Maybe you’ll get lucky!Quote:
