Just another 100 years.
Took my two Lithgow 1922 rifles to the range for a bit of a birthday celebration, an A prefix with original light barrel and a B prefix with H barrel and set up in target rifle configuration.

....and to finish a 2 and 10 round stage at 500yds, the Light barrel and original sights put up a 45.3, the target setup put in a 47.5, both shot in blustery conditions.
Happy Centenary to them both......maybe I should have let my mother shoot them, she's going on 105 and still gives me a run with an air rifle.

Unfair comparison open sights v peep sight with ring. Still very good shooting from both rifles as i would expect from you.

Excellent Muff! Well done to you and The Senior Ladies!

What sort of nose cap is that with the peep sight? Is the peep sight attached to the nose cap?
Beautiful rifles and happy birthday to them both!

Yeah Bruce, still have trouble with iron sights and my eyes are not getting any younger.
That's our old favorite load of 40 gn of AR2208(VARGET to you yanks) behind a 174 Sierra pill.
The front sight is a combination of PH target tunnel mated to modified front boss, a typical KIWI mod.
