These marks are on a Russian 91/30 PU sniper rifle, they appear to be proof marks but I am unable to identify which country of origin they are, any help would be appreciated, many thanks.

You've got me there Paul, the shield is reminiscent of Munich and I am sure I've seen the twin chevron markings before.Quote:
