Dark dingy old barracks, I'm surprised we ever got anything clean. I wouldn't even be able to see in that half light now...
During classroom instruction we got the lights turned down low and the heat turned up high. Last class of the day after 15 hours working off maybe 3 hours sleep!
Worst would be listening to the Pl Comd that had no method of instruction experience or actual learning and he was teaching the driest crap imaginable. You'd need a marching NCO on hand to keep guys awake.
Jim, that class was an hour long dissertation on the benefits of the LSDD! You can't make flash bangs an interesting subject for an hour!:rofl::lol:
Ours taught map using for instance, something he knew little about. Also regimental history...
