They were a pretty good ride... the Globemaster II. As I recall, the coffeemaker could make enough coffee for everyone aboard in fifteen minutes... and do so in any bank the plane was rated at. The one downside was that the standard canvas sling seat had a bar running directly across the center. The canvas soon stretched so that your butt was on the bar. Your butt would invariably go to sleep in flight.
