It is exactly 80 years ago that the Alpini broke the Russian encirclement and then managed to get back home.
With them they brought tens of thousands of Hungarian, Italian, Romanian and German soldiers, saving their lives.
From this year, the date is officially celebrated in Italy. It was time!
