Imagine the value of the equipment you see in front of you?
I'd be worried about attracting an unwanted blue on blue with a patinated uniform that very closely resembled the German Flectarn design!
In relation to my reference to the German patination of their camouflaged equipment and gear.
Here is a German sniper captured see how his left leg seems to blend perfectly with the brick wall he is next to.
The story behind this pic is that a counter sniper team captured him and the spotter is covering the German as the Allied sniper with helmet (trophy) escorts him very lucky if he was captured by the Russians then his fate would have been horrid.
That was exactly the problem so the uniform was retired very shortly into campaign.Quote:
