Unconcerned about the unique role they are to play, Leathernecks of the First Marine Division in Korea await take-off orders for the first helicopter assault landing in history. A reinforced company of combat-ready troops are ferried 18 miles by a squadron of the giant helicopters to a Korean hilltop. The operation was a complete success, with no men or aircraft lost.
