Patter 1903 bayonet markings

I was never able to identify the markings on the Pattern 1903 bayonet. Any help in identification would be appreciated.

The original number was crossed out and a new "long" number was applied.

What was the original unit ?

10th Hussars? Beneath that looks to be SG 7. Scots Guards?
