Walther Model 4 Type 2

I posted this earlier in the flea market thread but took some photos of the disassembly and with a proper holster I didn't realize I had. This is a 1917 dated holster I had a Mauser 1934 in. Unfortunately, the Mauser does not fit the FN1922 holster, so I'll have to find another one for that. Picked up a second magazine for it also.

Here is my Walther Model 4, believe is very late variation

Some internal parts missing. It took me a little time to figure out the disassemblyAttachment 138124Attachment 138125

Appears to be WWI production based on the slide serrations. I don't know about those white grips however.

Pretty nice shape over all.

I acquired mine a couple years ago. During test firing (I only loaded two rounds in the magazine), I discovered the broken firing pin that made it run away and fire both shots. I was able to get the new firing pin easy enough, but I gave up trying to put the pistol back together. I just could not figure out how to hold my tongue just right. It's still in pieces on the top shelf of the safe waiting for me to get motivated again.
