Indian No 4T question

Hi all,
I've searched the forum and failed to find a clear answer, so at risk of covering old ground again . . .

Does anyone know if the 4Ts in Indian use were all converted British or Canadian 4Ts or were some new snipers on non-sniper No 4s?

yes, they are all converted No4 T's.

however they appear to have completed conversions to Mk1/2 themselves.

Yes, they did convert many to Mk1/2 spec. ANOTHER wise move by the canny Indians. Makes assembly at manufacturing level far easier. Makes life in the Armourers shops much easier too.
