.303 Bore Reflector Tool
Recently picked up a very nice .303 Bore Reflector Tool from a Canadian milsurp seller. Per the Enfield-Stuff.com website (https://www.enfield-stuff.com/Pages/...reViewers.html) mine is a RSAF Enfield unit that was probably manufactured pre-WW I and possibly in the 1890s.
After casting about on the net to see what else I could find out about these cool little tools--sort of a poor-man's borescope--it appears all were manufactured before and during WW I, or at least I couldn't find any references to units produced after 1916. The item has been discussed a couple of times here on MilSurps.com, but nothing addresses the manufacturing timeline.
Given the millions of Enfields produced after WW I it seems strange the bore reflector tools weren't manufactured after that war. Anybody know anything about post-WW I production?
