Lidiya Gudovantseva was a famous WWII Russian sniper. She had 76 kills and was eventually awarded Order of Lenin.

Neat video clip. Did you notice the German soldier with the USGI carbine?

I noticed that too. I guess she did the "payback" for some unfortunate GI.

yes about the carbine, who would think that a german soldier on the eastern front would have a carbine? wonder why?
