Things To Look For

The four rear sight drifts have apertures off-set to the left. This set of off-set drifts were found in the butstock of a 1921 Natitional Match Rifle.
Rib on rear of sight ladder has been removed for ease of changing sight drifts.
Does anybody have a set of sight drifts wth apertures off-set to the right. they would be marked "R1" "R2" "R3" and "R4"

Interesting. Wonder why the shooter just didn't use the windage adjustment?

I think it would be to choose the sight base that hit at the point of aim at the zero setting rather than drift the front sight. Just a guess.
