Reno Gunshow Report
I got home late Friday PM from Reno. The Big Show is big and packed, all right. I wanted to buy proimers for my club and got none. Huge lines with a limit of 2K primers per buyer. By the time I got to the front of the line primers were gone. No powder per the Reno Fire Marshall.
Harvey from Yakima was there with no Garand parts Friday AM. It seems all of the dealers bought him out Thursday PM during set-up. Gosh, so much for no Thursday sales. So if you need Garand parts look for Gary, Fred and Matt. Actually these dealers took so much at least one dealer ran out of cash. He will mail a check off to Harvey after the show closes on Sunday! I asked Harvey to put a box under the table for us guys, the little people. Harvey said OK. We'll see! The buffet at the Sierra Grand Casino is tops and I did enjoy myself. All in all a very good show.

I was there Friday as well, the line for ammo stretched all the way down the room (200 feet approx.) and blocked all the dealers along the wall, I would have been one upset dealer to have all that foot traffic blocked by a long line. Dealers were also not doing much business, as many people spent their $$ on ammo and not on guns, parts, accessories, etc. Steve, maybe we can meet up next time.

I talked to a buddy who went up to Reno on Saturday. Very calm, no crowds. Most ammo gone and no primers of any sort to be had.
