New Us Fa 44 Brass
I am trying to determine a fair market value for 30 06 primed brass. There are 700 new old stock primed FA44 30 06 pieces packed in 20 round boxes .They are inside a heavy wooden tin lined crate with Govt and ordinance markings painted on the outside. The top is attached with several brass wing nuts. There is also the original order form from the govt dated July 1955 included with it. I know the primers are corosive. I am trying to determine a fair value considering the shooting value of the brass as well as any possible collector value just leaving it as is. Thanks in advance for any help.

As far as brass for reloading goes they have the disadvantage of being crimped as well as having corrosive primers. As far as cartridge collectors interest goes I would guess they might be worth about $5 per box of 20 but it may take a long time to sell 35 boxes of them. You can try listing them under collectible ammo on AuctionArms.com.
