Over 4K Inland?
I payed 2K for one, early, 200K range, "I" cut, but with ordnance wheel, where this one GB 4K 100K range is 12-42, 100K before wheel used..worth twice as much, or was mine a bargain? Mine has same early features..but has wheel, and is 1-2 months later.

Early Inlands are a field unto themselves. The earlier the example, the more of a premium it will command. Any original as manufactured carbine is extremely desirable. IMHO, the early Inlands were some of the most beautiful, highest quality produced.

To me in the photos it appears that the finish on that carbine has been redone. It doesn't appear to be blue but more like parkerizing. Early Inlands were two tone blue on the receivers.
-
IMO, the finish looks right. It would have been nice to see more photos though.
Bruce, If you look closely, the two tone finish is faintly visible on both sides of the receiver. And while both the blued and phosphate finished carbines had the two tone appearance, this one appears to be the blued version, as it should.

Chris, I take your word on it as to me it just doesn't look right but that could be the pictures or even my old eyes as they don't seem to work as well as they used too.
