Yep. The SIG is about the only one she can get good trigger finger placement on. She can use the Walther P22 as well, but it's under powered, and she inexplicably manages to release it's mag on occasion while firing.

Well after a lot of work and more expense than anticipated my wife picked up her SIG P365XL last Tuesday Aug 11. She just had surgery so its going to be a while before we can hit the range and give it a try. I never thought we would own a plastic handgun, but there you go, fits her hand perfect.

If she likes it, then it’s all good.
Taste is something that can’t be argued with.
I wish you both to be able to hit the range asap.
You bought the best small pistol on the market. That would be my choice for personal carry but civilians cannot purchase them here in California. If you are getting a "plastic" pistol, get the Sig. They have perfected them.
You can if you are buying it from some in law enforcement or military.

We were lucky that we found one. All the other manufactures were either too small, too wide, to too big. Just like Goldielocks its just right...
Came to the same conclusion for my niece. Might be a while before she gets to field test it though. She came down with the current plague a couple of weeks back. Although thankfully she seems to be weathering it pretty well, she probably won't be up to snuff for some time yet. All in due course. Got to keep our perspective.
But I have some plastic. I bought this for my son and had it engraved while he was in Afghanistan. Hopefully, someday his sons will be fighting over who gets it when Dad dies. There were few family heirlooms when I was growing up. I want my kids to have some.
That's awesome! A Kimber too
My daughter was serving with the Multi-National Forces in Egypt during the uprising there and he command gave a bunch of these to them. Even though she was in the $h1t she did not get a combat ribbon like the guys who were with her because there was no woman in combat at the time. She did bring home a nice case of PSTD though that I spent a lot of time working through with her.
