I collect the small-arms of America and America's allies for the first 10 years of the cold war, 1946 to 1956. Not coincidentally, these are my first 10 years of life and the years when I was imprinted with my image of the military.
My collection is mostly WW1 and WW2 infantry weapons and I have a fairly even interest in all of them. I suppose my Garand and Carbine are at the top of the list, though, with the British, German, and Soviet weapons close behind.
My interests are primarily Mausers but that hasn't stopped Lee Enfields from breeding in the corner of the gun closet (I have 5!). To be fair, ANYTHING milsurpy gets a second look from me... sometimes it's just too neat to pass one up.
Looking for parts for French training rifle Mas 45. Have some parts but need a few to rebuild Mas 45. Milcon.
I'm going to focus on nicer examples as opposed to numbers.
M1 Garand and M1A are my favorite rifles and the ones I find the most accurate and reliable.
As I have at more that one of each box in the list, I had to check them all!
Voted.
My interest and purely selfish of course is the Lee Enfield, Webley Mk VI.
