Hello from Northeastern Nevada. I have been browsing this site for years and figured it was time to jump in. Started milsurp collecting at 14years of age when Dad gave me a Jap model 38. At eighteen, I bought a 1903A3 and have since spent my life buying selling and trading every chance I get. To paraphrase, I have spent my money on guns, wine, women and song. The rest I squandered. Oh. I still have both guns mentioned, lo these many years.
Hi All,
Just joined today and thought I'd say Hello.
Hope to post some and learn from the many
gun nuts on this forum.

Hi all -- I am interested in M1 Garands especially IHCs and WWII Springfields. I also have 03s and 03a3s that I shoot. Lindy
Good old Google steered this 70 year old Newby to your fine site. My first firearm was a little Stevens Favorite 22LR which my Dad guided me through its restoration (it had been in someones leaking trunk) very fine emery cloth, cold blue, linseed oil and rottenstone. The latest project that is almost completed (are they ever truly finished??upgrades??) with my 13 year old grandson, an NRA Youth member, is my old Ruger 10-22, which has so far received a 22 inch, .920 target barrel, synthetic stock, trigger, bolt, and magazine release mods, and a good target scope. The goal is 5 rounds under a dime at 25 yards and 5 rounds under a quarter at 50 yards consistantly to move on other calibers. These include a 7.62x39 SKS, Model 1898 Krag, Model 1903 and Model 1903-A3 Remingtons, Model 1917 Remington and Eddystone, an SMLE #4 Mk 1* Longbranch, a Cal 30 M1 Springfield, and a Model 1889 Springfield 45/70 Trapdoor).
New to this board, enjoy collecting all old mil-surp rifles, located in south central Az.
Hi all. I'm new in this forum and new in the historic arms collection too. My interest is focussed on WWII and more specifically on arms used during spanish civil war 1936-1939, most of which have been used during WWII too. Hope I will find advices and friends here, and of course hope i'll be helpfull to some of you on some topics. I live in Europe.
Good afternoon gentlemen. I am new to this military arms game but I have an M1 Garand #855xxx that I love to shoot and I'm thinking about getting a Carbine. Any advice?
My sons and I try to get to the range as often as possible. We shoot handguns as well as rifles.
Hi all, my name is Dave and I have been collecting for over 40 yrs., started with Winchesters then moved on to U.S. military rifles. I have just finished up with the WWII commercial training .22's and thinking about were to go from hear.
I have been a NRA life member since 1968. I look forward to having a good time on this site.
