Hi, Greetings from the far west. I am an enthuiast but not really a milsurp collector. I have a few rifles that I have had built that were milsurp basket cases, I made a 303 win mag out of a p14 that had a bubba'd action, I made a 6.5x55AI out of a '96 mauser I got in parts, I have a 7 mm rem mag I made from a Ross that was also in very bad shape. (maybe I am the dreaded Bubba) My rifle hobby is the resurection of basket cases, at the expense of too much money and too much effort. I remain firm in the belief that no commercial actions have any great advantage of the likes of the mauser, enfield etc. I enjoy looking through the collector site and seeing what you guys are doing to preserve the history.

Hello. New to this site - I came over from CSP where I posted as DR. My main shooting interests are in various types of service rifle competition and handgunning. My son and I have been traveling to Camp Perry since he was 14 years old - our favorites are the J.C. Garand, Springfield, Vintage and M1 Carbine matches. Although I live in Minnesota, I have never been mistaken for any of the characters in the movie "Fargo".

Hello All,
My name is Fred Clemmer from Gastonia, N.C. I have collected several SG M1 Garands from CMP in addition to a Remington 1903 Mod A3 and 1903 Springfield. I also recently acquired an Inland Marine Division 1944 M1 Carbine. I enjoy firing all my "antique" WW2 firearms as well as modern pistols. I also reload my ammo when time permits.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Badger & the rest of the administrators of this board for making available to all the jouster forums and the information about the Culvers. I intend to contribute to Culver donation fund. I have been away for several months and have not logged into the CSP and was unaware of their problems. The Culvers have provided me many hours reading and learning about these wonderful weapons.
Again Thank You!
Sincerely,
Fred Clemmer
