Hi to all, I use to visit this site to gain valuable information but have been busy with life for a few years and am now back on the hunt for answers. I have loved military weapons since I was a young kid. I remember having a plastic M1 Garand that shot plastic bullets before I was 6 years old. Love WWII stuff! Probably a lot more questions than answers. Looking forward to the interaction.
I have a nice Garand that I love to shoot and picked up an M1 Carbine at a pawn shop this weekend. Can't get enough of the WWII rifles but also looking into Colt 1911.
am being forced to say hello and introduce myself.(LOL) i love my daughter and my black rifles and my garands. i have 2 mint-collector grades an IHC postage stamp and a SA that is absolutely mint i am working on getting an HRA too WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWW glad that is over with.

Hi guys, I was a member of the old 1903 forum and just discovered this one. Located in western Colorado for the last 44 years, originally from Idaho. NRA member since 1947 and Edowmember since the early 90s. Bought my first 1903 in 1947 (DCM) and two 03A3s later. Don't consider myself a collector but love the old military weapons. have Garand, Carbine, Krag, Mausers, 1911, etc.
Hi all,
I'm new to this, but I'm learning. I'm looking forward to learning the finer points of my Krag. It's great to learn more and more every day, from the different sights to the subtle yet important differences in models.
Hi everyone, I've been a collector for over thirty years. Ive displayed my Garand sniper collection at the GCA Convention a few years ago at the Tank Show in Virginia.
The handle tells how young I am. The M1 Gerand has given me more than one fat lip and sore right thumb:( That was the weapon for the rifle team before the M14 was introduced. I spent twenty seven of my thirty six months goofing off on the best duty possible! I am looking for information on the M1 Carbine. That is what was carried during guard duty (did a lot of that when not on the team). I have one now and another on the way from the CMP. Hope this doesn't turn into some kind of a passion:) You never know!!!
