Hello folks,
Interested in Lee-Enfields No 4 Mk 1. For a military rifle they light and efficient.
I have heard of loading them with round balls and a light load for indoor shooting practice.
Glad to be here.
:) Hello members, looks like lots of great information available here! Glad to find
this Site.
I have had a lifelong affection of firearms, hunting, the great outdoors! I
became interested in Military rifles as a teenager, my first being a Low Ser.#
03 Springfield, didn't know the low #s were un-safe to fire! Also had a 6.5
Carcano, never thought of that rifle being accurate enough to be a sniper's
choice! I now have high # 03s, several Garands, M1 Carbines, that I have
gotten through the CMP. I have started putting together AR-15s from parts,
about a year ago, little did I realize at the time how hard parts would become,
or I would have invested more in barrels and bolts!
Hi all,
I got into milsurps a few years ago because I love the history associated with old firearms, plus a patriotic love for our country and the tangible items from our past.
I now have 3 M1's from CMP (1 SA and 2 HRA's), a Remington 1903-A3, Inland M1 Carbine, and 2 Mossberg M44 US .22's. Oh, and a 1891 Argentine Mauser I inherited. I am into reloading, and love shooting all my milsurps.
Hope I can learn lots here!
