I guess I'm a "Real Armourer" then because that's all I've ever used.

I have a brass drift and "toffee" hammer in my range box for exactly that purpose.
As my Grandfather said to me .Don't be a butcher when the correct tools are handy. My Father didn't say anything i just got walloped if i didn't take noticed of the cough before hand.
The cramp is absolutely more accurate. Coming from a target shooting aspect when real zeros are needed not minute of man because of the longer ranges shot.
How many shooters today have the tools to zero their peep sight to the bore before they do anything else like the front sight without firing a shot for both zeros.
I always carefully support the muzzle in a vice (vise)............
I look at it that I'm rebuilding a rifle for the end user to zero to their ultimate satisfaction. The friend with the Mk1 SMLE left with the foresight blade that I fitted & a selection of others for if needed. He also had a slot booked at a 100yd tunnel range...& a sight cramp!
I have all of the tools. SMLE, No.4, No.5, P'14/M1917 and Sterling SMG. I still use a small brass drift and hammer. Never had a problem although I admit that the tool works smoother and is probably more accurate. I do have an SMLE tool that's almost worn out from tight blades.
For the 303's as far as I know what I have;
L - R ~ No.4 rifle sight adjustment tool, No.1 MkIII sight adjustment tool.
