Ive read where the indians were big on making the stock's shorter and useing the metal stock plate for making tool's. Just a guess:dunno:.
If it were mine id put it back togeather somehow.
It would make a great wall hanger.

Is that a hole drilled thru. the hammer? Any one have any idea what that was for?
Free, clean it all up, put it back togeather and take some pic's out side.
