Skippy, what do you mean. I would say the stock is milspec and the finish has a gloss to it that my Enfields don't. I guess this Fin hasn't been rode hard and put away wet.....Bob

Looks like a typical pine-tarred and then rubbed and hand-polished stock typical of Finn service. Alot of these were also polished with rubbed-in beeswax in the field.
The only thing that should be done to that stock is a little cleaning and oil. Anything else just ain't right. I rolling the dice but, I think Claven2 may agree-SDH
