Tom, you are correct I am sorry for the error. They are working on a online data base next year. I was thinking they would also be making a new publication. The memory does not work so well sometimes.

And the comment that all data is copywrited and subject to US laws.

Springfield Research Service. They have accumulated a long list of serial numbers of specific rifles, arms, pistols, etc. from the National Archives and other places that indicate a snapshot in time of where that arm was on a given day (at Pearl Harbor on 7 Dec for instance). For a fee, they will send you documentation of your arm's snapshot history. In some cases, it can increase the value of the arm significantly.

Thanks Jim. I'll have to post the s.n.'s of my 03 and 03/A3 to see what other members can come up with. I would love to have the history of these rifles.
