Peter, this is my favorite rifle. It is extremly accurate and you can use it on the range and also for service. Do you know it ? It`s a Blaser Tactical straight pull rifle in .308 Win. , for me the most universal calibre. The scope is a Swarovski 6x - 24x .

Gunner
Yep, recognise it now Gunner. We've got one at work. I'll take it out during the week to see how she shoots..............
Wot???? I thought it was a sheep but didn´t like to mention it (these things happen quite often in the darkest parts of Bavaria).
Thanks for the comment ,villiers. I know that it is a little stupid to ask such an experienced armourer what kind of rifle this is.
Best greetings from the darkest part of Bavaria to the darkest part of prussia. :wave:Solltest vielleicht mal hierher kommen und sehen was für helle Kerlchen wir sind! Nichts für ungut! :beerchug:
Best Regards
Gunner
I played with a Blaser straight pull at the NRA show here in Phoenix this past May. While talking to the sales rep I remarked that I had a K31 (by SIG!!) carbine. The man impressed me by talking about the differences between the two guns. Most 'show reps' seem to know little about the heritage of their products.
Like the VW sales man who had never seen an original Käfer in real life:thdown:
My first car, in 1973, was a 1961 Beetle. When it had brake line issues I transferred the engine to a '65. My brother had a '66 and later the 69 Super Beetle. A yellow one. He was going to give it to me about ten years ago but his Frau made him dispose of it before I could get down to Tucson to take possession. :banghead:
This is sort of neat. I'm sitting in Arizona discussing Enfields (and Vee Dubs) with Germans, Brits, Aussies etc. Can you imagine we ever found reason to shoot at each other??
Not really! The only thing missing is to sit at BBQ with a cold beer and talk about milsurps.

Gunner
