British Paratroops didn't have a reserve. You got one shot at jumping and your canopy opening.

We don't go in for this giving paratroopers different kit because you end up with a mixed fleet. The trouble with folding butts is that they always deteriorate with age. The only exception to that golden rule was the Sterling SMG. It DID deteriorate but there was a simple repair (simply re-bush the buttframe axis pin holes.....) and not an expensive complete replacement
