I'm sure we had left-hooker Bren gunners. I suppose that they just leaned over a bit more to the left a bit.
When I was doing my Military Training as an apprentice, the Bren lessons were the very best because our two instructors both fought in Korea and told us amazing things about using the guns there so when the day came to fire them on Wanfell Ranges, we were really psyched up and dying to shoot them. The Armourers had fired them on the test ranges but live firing at 300 yards was like something out of heaven. I'd have fired it even if I was blind!
They told us that the three best shots could shoot again so everyone tried REALLY hard. But at the end, they let everyone shoot again..........
