I have seen a few LB's dressed in Maple, they look good.

I don't mind corrosive ammo, have shot lots and lots of it in the past 25 or so years. Lots of good hot water down the pipe followed by a good cleaning with Ed's Red seems to do the trick. Though I always go back and clean it again a couple three days latter just to be on the safe side.
