$350 for a dececent Brazilian Mauser is only a dream in Canada. An all matching Brazilian 1935 or 1908 with matching bayonet, in 95% condition will sell for $850. A minty unissued one can and does go for $1000 if it has all of the accessories and maybe more with an uncracked sling and original target.
If they are in decent condition, they are outstanding shooters. Capable of sub MOA groups.

I've posted a similar quetion to this on another forum, heres what Iposted in that thread, I can't comment about rest of world, but I've noticed a few thing in the UK.
Has anyone else noticed a massive diffrence in dealers prices?
Since puting a register of Bren serials together I've noticed on a number of occasions, the same Bren being offerd for sale by diffrent dealers.
One example is a 1939 Mk1 which was for sale at Ryton Arms in December when I was up there. It Was £395 but with a discount £380.
The same gun is now for sale a Target Arms
http://www.target-arms.co.uk/product...me/deactivated
And he is asking £675
I've no problem with dealers making a profit, they have to earn a living etc. but is a £295 profit, a little too much?

Over here the prices are interesting too. Some types of rifles are really cheap like the Swiss the Nagants and some of the Enfields while others are rising extremely like the Swedes. Last year i payed 300Euros for an really good M38 and now they sell them for 700 Euros.
@ bearhunter
bad that we can send the rifles to you. There are two fine brazilians near my location for sale one for $ 430 and the other in mint quality for $ 590.
but i think you have the better SMLE´s. Ours are mostly scrab and if it isnt so they are to expensive.

I live in Northern Ohio and hit the same gun shows over and over always looking for the odd odds and ends. I don't really shop for firearms anymore as I have most of what I can afford. If I do want a Mil Surp CMP North is less than 40 miles away.
We do see a large variety including shotguns, pistols, mil surps from about every country. And a lot of Rack and field grade rifles from the CMP selling for service grade prices. Spam cans of HXP that used to sell for $70 from the CMP go for about double at the shows.
I did find a cartridge belt at a show for $15. Even the repo's are going for $30 or more. I didn't even mind the price being written on the duck with magic marker. It holds 8 M1 clips or 16 strippers.

Attended the Kamloops Gun Show Saturday and talked to a good friend that was sellling both days. Business was brisk and prices help pretty well, not many discounts on good product. From my observations desireable firearms in good condition brought very strong prices. I saw alot of guns bought and sold and I think most vendors and buyers were happy.
