Spinecracker might be right that it's partly down to him - posting requests on a few forums leads to something's allure/worth becoming greater, prices go up etc.
We're talking items which are of practical use, and if you've got an enforcer without one (not at all uncommon), or just want to make a lookalike, you 'need' for it to be correct. Trouble is with ebay you can't guarantee selling something for a certain price, at least in auction format. I'd sell one of mine if I was going to get £350, but if it went for £100 - £150 I'd rather keep it.
One thing I've seen it a lot on that auction site, especially with desirable enfield items, is that one goes for a bundle, often after a long period without a similar item appearing. Then a host of others appear from sellers wanting to cash in (recently 3-4 auctions for 5e4s after none for ages) and the price correspondingly drops.
I saw it a few years ago when I sold a no53 mk1 scope for no32 spares and it went for £200 + - a host then appeared even some quoting my auction result, but the prices inevitably were quite a bit less. (And after a prominent forum member's recent successes with similar items I expect to see a few more of them on ebay! :clap: [must be a few Churchill Mk7 or 8s missing their besa sighting systems])

Oh, I feel so guilty...lol. sorry, guys, but it was the best way for me to find my PH5E/4 :P
Joking aside, the AJ Parker TZ 4/47 with the single hole rimbell eye-piece I mentioned earlier is for sale for 220 pounds ($340) + shipping (photos available on request), based on Alan's earlier comments. I would prefer to sell it to a forum member - at least I know it would go to a nice home and be looked after :). If there are no takers, then its off to Evilbay!

Well - the 5E/4 ended up at £230 whilst the PH5C made £201.
If £200 is now the level for 5Cs then the 5E/4 was cheap !!

The PH5E4 sight was designed to clear the rear PH scope ring as mounted on a drilled and tapped No.4 or Enforcer.
