Up here in Canada, not so. I didn't look at what they want on Ebay for it as I wouldn't deal with them. We saw a few of those butts here but not even many of the guns made it here.

Gentleman - all 30 carbine magazines, both "USGI" & "commercial" are commecially manufactured. Our government manufactures nothing. Respectfully - Jack:bow:

Using that standard then everything in existence can be judged as "Military Issue", even though it was not produced under a Military Contract.
Because our government does not produce anything directly does not mean there is not a difference. Commercial copies never met the inspection or quality standards of items produced under Government Contracts from WWII through the 1970's.
The stock is up to US$101.00 !!! 14 bids. We're missing out on a "rare" collectible!?!?
Or are we driving the price up?...
