FWIW, I have owned 3 swp45's, 2 RC's and one that was maybe original. All the originals I have personally seen had the suffix on the bolt. My personal view is that the bolt is off a dot43 or dot44 and has been renumbered at some point, probably in Czechoslovakia in the late 40's, and probably for an East German contract - my $.02 worth.
The stock layout, nubering style, etc. all fits for a late 40's refurb going to EG. Later EG rifles had electro-pencilled S/N on the safety, but earlier ones look just like this.

You have a lot more expertise than I do and I suspect you're right. I just find it odd that the rifle has no Czech firing proofs or Brno markings on the receiver. Were the East German contract rifles not marked by the Czechs?
