About £200-300 is the current going rate in my experience. A friend of mine got one off Ryton Arms at a militaria fair in May for £210. Most of the deactivated No.4's on the UK market are non-matching guns in unremarkable condition. The UK's gun laws plus the pressures of supply and demand tend to push the market towards deactivation for historic but still legally controlled firearms.Quote:

If it wasn't for the UK deact market, there'd probably be a lot fewer Australian Bren guns still in existence. A large quantity were imported into the UK in the 1990's. Most of those that didn't make it out have since been scrapped following a change of government policy.Quote:
