OK, I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but how about the price on the A4 above?

Ya, 9500 bucks seems kinda steep...........I guess. I am not an expert, but that's a lot of bread!
The seller is "Common Sense Arsenal" --- Maybe "Optimistic Arms" would be more appropriate:D
The price is high but worse rifles have sold for as much on the CMP auction site.
Personally i have some doubts about the stock and markings.
The M82, while not original, looks very nice and is correct for a 50's vintage rifle (except for the missing eye shade).

Actually, that's what my rifle has mounted, and M-82....but I know mine was probably not original, plus........I ain't got 9500 bucks no matter how nice it may be.
And some of the CMP auction prices are ridiculous! I take that back, MOST of them are nuts!Quote:

I suppose high prices are ridiculous if you are looking to buy...on the other hand if you are seller well then they are just right.:D
The real test is if anyone bites. If the auction closes with no takers then for sure its was too high especially in this economy.
My main point is for that price the piece better be damn near perfect. Frankly i don't think this one is.:thdown:
