Or not! Five tries later and it still doesn't work! Oh, wel, the link there to here works...(Japanese forum- "Type 38 Questions" by gew88 or similar- mobile format makes jumping about tough, esp. w/ script errors!)
If it were mine, I would l take the barrel out, make a clamp to go around the receiver end over the chamber area, hang it in a press and with a mandrel just the size of the bore and beveled on the front so it will not gouge the riflings - press it out. You would have to start with a short mandrel and get longer, if you use a long one to begin with it will bow and defeat your purpose. It was pressed in so it will press out. riceone
just put it back together and will sell for a parts gun at next show dont think the object will come out.

FYI: i have a nice one that has a great bore, that id sell....
For what its worth.... take the old barrel off and replace with another used one or rebarrel to something else!! The action on the 91's are really nice...
